How do we top Summer 2009? We are thrilled and gratified by how many happy campers
and parents have asked us this question. Incredibly positive feedback and constructive
suggestions will help us to make what was a wonderful, memorable and enriching Summer
2009 even better in Summer 2010! Camp spirit… concern for each individual… professionally
run and exciting specialties, programs and activities…Fun!…top-notch equipment,
and supplies… fantastic Toronto French School facilities… central, accessible
Bayview/Lawrence location…great transportation options…committed and caring staff…
Fun!… strong and effective specialty/program affiliations with experienced, expert and
reputable individuals and organizations… sing songs, dress-up days and other awesome
theme programs and special guests… Fun!… supportive parents… and, of course, happy
campers! This is truly the formula for an enjoyable and memorable summer for campers,
staff, parents… and three pretty thrilled camp directors!
Unbelievably, Summer 2010 is not that far away and we are already hiring, planning,
programming and getting busy! Your much appreciated feedback about our program and
your helpful and constructive suggestions about transportation, activities, parent days and
so much more have been indispensable in shaping our Summer 2010 program. In addition
to our amazing Kid-Vantage and LEAD /CIT programs and Adventure Challenge,
Cheerleading, Comics & Animation, Court Sports, Creatures & Creativity, Dance, Extreme
Sports, Gymnastics, Land Sports, Magic, Performing Arts, Science & Computers, Science
& Rocketry, Swimming and Tennis specialties from Summer 2009, we are excited to add
Circus Arts, Culinary Arts, Horseback Riding, and Martial Arts to our great line-up for this
coming summer! We are also planning other terrific activities and guests, which will only
enhance your camper’s experience. Toronto French School’s awesome indoor and outdoor
facilities allow unlimited opportunities for fun and excitement for Zodiac programs! In the
end, though, it’s the people – teachers, counsellors and, of course, campers – who make
Zodiac such a special place.
We are also very excited about Zodiac’s other very special place…Camp Tamarack, our
beautiful overnight camp on a private lake in the heart of Muskoka. We introduced well over
100 Zodiac campers to Tamarack in Summer 2009 and look forward to exposing many
more Zodiac campers to Tamarack’s great facilities, multi-faceted program, fun and spirit in
Summer 2010. Great one day visits and our three-day, two-night weekend Taste of
Tamarack overnight camp opportunities for 7 to 10 year old Zodiac campers (see pages 35-
36) will all be part of the fun at Tamarack this summer!
