LUNCH PROGRAMWHO?With over 50 years experience, Aramark Food Services is a highly reputable food service provider that not only services happy and well-fed TFS students and staff during the school year, but also provides delicious, nutritious hot and cold lunch options to Zodiac campers and staff. WHAT?Zodiac parents love that their child(ren) have an element of choice, but equally want the food to be fresh, hot or cold (as appropriate!) and plentiful. Aramark’s customized, nut-sensitive Zodiac lunch program meets and exceeds these objectives by offering two or three daily hot entrée options, (e.g. chicken nuggets and fries, macaroni and cheese, hamburgers... and more!) a fresh salad bar, a daily hot soup, a daily multi-option “cold” sandwich bar, desserts/snacks and drinks. HOW?Aramark’s professional staff serve participating specialty campers (aged 7 and older)
in an organized and efficient “cafeteria style” that totally allows for individual choice based
on what the individual feels like eating that day. All campers will receive the actual menu in
our May mailing which allows them to pre-choose their lunch each day, even though they
do not have to make their choices until the day in question. Participating Kid-Vantage
campers (ages 3.5 to 6.5), however, will have lunch delivered to them in their K-V classrooms,
and need to complete and submit a lunch order form in advance (which will be sent
to families in the May mailing). Don’t miss out on a terrific lunch program that is enjoyed by

LUNCHES FROM HOME, ALLERGIES, CHANGES…
While most campers love participating in Zodiac’s catered lunch program, certain Zodiac families appreciate the choice to send their campers with lunch from home. Due to TFS’ policy, however, we ask that you please refrain from bringing or sending nuts and nut products or products labelled “may contain nuts”, in any lunches or snacks sent from home. Subject to this, you are still welcome to send your own lunch for your camper(s)(we are happy to supply drinks at no extra charge). While the catered lunches are not kosher, they are nut-restricted and there are vegetarian alternatives. Ann or Pete from Aramark (416-484-6980 x 4202) would be pleased to discuss your child’s situation or any other questions regarding menu, portions, ingredients, etc. (please do not call Zodiac about these issues!).
LUNCH ADDITIONS & CANCELLATIONS…..
Your camper may join the lunch program after he/she has started camp (pro-rated for the session in question) as long as Zodiac receives at least 24 hours prior written notice (at least by noon the day before your camper’s first camp lunch). Any cancellation of the lunch program requires at least one week’s notice (with a pro-rated refund for any other paid unused days after the end of the one week notice period). All lunch cancellations are also subject to an $11.00 administrative fee.
